DESCRIPTION
At 10,000 square feet, the Villa Buena Onda is one of the largestprivate homes in Costa Rica. The floor plan is open to take advantage of the tropical breezes and bright Guanacaste sun that make this part of the country so beautiful. Earthy tones and natural elements like river rock floor inlays, exotic woods, and Nicaraguan hand-made roof tiles won’t let you forget that you are on truely on a vacation in paradise. The first floor of the villa features a plush living room in front of a large sliding door that opens out to the deck and pool area. You can also enjoy a cold drink at the bar while you watch your favorite movie or sports team on the 42′ flat screen TV.
Upon ascending the spiral staircase you will reach the other living room on the second floor of the villa. Here you can relax on the L shaped sofa and enjoy the second 42′ flat screen TV with satellite or pop in a movie from the DVD library. For those looking to appreciate the nature and serenity of the villa, the second floor also offers a huge private balcony complete with rocking chairs, a couch, and the best views on the property.
The seven guest rooms all come lavishly furnished with air-conditioning, private bathrooms, full closets, individual volume controls, 10-foot ceilings, and ocean views from either the patio or a private balcony. Four of the suites come with king beds while the other three offer two queen beds. All of the rooms have the ability to add either a roll-away or day bed to accommodate a maximum of 23 people. The downstairs suite is also wheelchair accessible.
Besides the luxurious accommodations and lavish guest rooms, the main focus of the Villa Buena Onda is certainly the sun deck and pool area. No expense was spared as the local legend Juan Roca, who designed pools for the likes of Mel Gibson and supermodel Gisele, was hired for the job. The finished product was a giant, two level infinity edge pool that is bigger than what you would find at most boutique hotels. The top level features a sitting area with jacuzzi jets and a swim up so you can enjoy cool drinks without having to leave the comfort of your pool. The top level then cascades into the lower level of the pool which is bigger and deeper. The lower level also offers a grotto area so you can let the waterfall rush onto your head and back. When you need to dry out or tan you can relax on one of the various pool chairs while you listen to the birds and howler monkeys.
The Villa Buena Onda is all-inclusive so all of your needs will be taken care of before you arrive.
