Day 1: Fly into San Jose, Costa Rica where you will be met inside the airport and taken right to your waiting private transfer. When you are ready we will take you directly to the beautiful Real Intercontinental in the upscale suburb of Escazu. This lavish hotel offers 261 tastefully decorated rooms, 24 hour room service, and all the amenities you would expect from a five star hotel.
Day 2: You will be picked up at the hotel and taken to the Tobias Bolanos Airport for a short domestic flight to Quepos. After a quick 25 minute flight you’ll be met at the Quepos Airport and taken right to your hotel, the incredible Gaia Hotel & Reserve. Opened in 2005, this is Manuel Antonio’s most luxurious and exclusive property. The perfect hotel for even the most discriminating guests, the Gaia takes great pride in offering its guests the perfect mix of privacy and first class personalized service. Should there be anything you need during your stay that the Gaia does not already have, just have your personal concierge run out and get whatever you need – special food request, new sunglasses, even DVDs! You’ll stay in the Gaia Suite which will spoil you with 1,100 square feet of living space, 15 ft high ceilings, 1.5 bathrooms, two LCD flat screen TVs and best of all a private 12′ x 18′ plunge pool.
Day 3: Full day private sport fishing charter on your private 32′ sport fishing boat. You’ll be picked up at your hotel at 7:30 AM and taken down to Quepos just five minutes away where you will board your private 32’ Hatteras for a day of world class fishing. Your captain and first mate will have the live bait ready and the cooler fully stocked so as soon as you get there you can head out. Spend the day fishing the deep blue Pacific waters that are home to huge numbers of tuna, sailfish, and marlin year round.
Day 4: This day is yours! This is a free day to relax and just enjoy your beautiful surroundings in Costa Rica. Hang out in any of the Gaia’s three pools or treat yourself to a day at the fabulous Terra Spa on the property. The Terra Spa offers a full range of personal and couples services all from a location that overlooks the surrounding tropical rainforest.
Day 5: Full day private sport fishing charter. Head back out to sea with your same captain and first mate and take your shot at that marlin or try to find a school of tuna and catch your own dinner. If you haven’t gotten the big one yet today is the day!!
Day 6: Take a break from the fishing and see what else Costa Rica has to offer. Play Tarzan as you ride the zip-lines over and through the rain forest. Canopy safari offers 21 platforms, 12 cables, and two Tarzan swings!
Day 7: Try a half day of in-shore fishing along the Central Pacific’s vibrant coast. The rocky coast line and several islands make for the perfect habitat for huge roosterfish and delicious snapper or fish near the two river mouths for giant snook.
Day 8:Enjoy your last day in Costa Rica on your own! Go out shopping for souvenirs or just relax and enjoy one more day of pampering by the amazing Gaia staff.
Day 9:Get picked up at the hotel and taken to the Quepos Airstrip just 10 minutes away. Avoid the traffic and 3 hour drive by taking a 25 minute domestic flight back to San Jose and the international airport for your flight home.
