Costa Rican Vacations was formed in November, 2000 after Tony Silva, a Minnesota native, identified the need for an online travel broker to arrange high end, all-inclusive vacations to Costa Rica. Since then tourism in Costa Rica has boomed with brand new luxury hotels, beautiful beach homes, and unrivaled popularity.

The sport fishing business in Costa Rica also benefited from this explosion and has since turned the heads of big names like Saltwater Fisherman, Field & Stream, and even ESPN. Hooked Up Sport Fishing was formed as a separate division of Costa Rican Vacations to cater to the serious sport fisherman. Our local fishing expert, Chris Atkins, has traveled to every corner of Costa Rica to find the best fishing spots and the most experienced partners. Hooked Up Sport Fishing is dedicated to providing you with the most unbiased expert opinion to make sure your vacation is a fishing trip to remember.

The Hooked Up Sport Fishing staff is comprised of North American, European, and Costa Rican young professionals who live full time in Costa Rica. Our staff is proud to offer the utmost expertise on traveling to Costa Rica while providing unbeatable customer service.
