| Sansa Air Domestic Flights | | | This is the largest plane in the fleet and flies from San Jose to Liberia. |
Description
The max cruising speed of these planes is over 300km/h which means you will never be in the air for long. They are by far and away better than taking the longer and bumpy ground transfers. A ground transfer from San Jose to Tamarindo can take up to 6 hours, where as it will be no longer than 30 minutes by plane, which really does make a huge difference for limited stays in the country. Why spend time in a bus or car when you could be enjoying a cocktail by the pool or catching some sun on the beach? Baggage allowance for internal flights is as follows: Checked baggage has a free weight limit of 22 lbs/10kg and a maximum size of 45 inches (length+width+depth). Baggage over this size may be accommodated, depending upon available space and weight of the flight. If not, it will be flown out on a later flight or left at the airport to be picked upon return. Hand luggage has a max weight of 5lbs or 2.3kg and a maximum size of 20 inches (length+width+depth). Baggage exceeding this size or weight will not be allowed on as hand luggage and must be checked in. In addition to hand luggage, the following items may also be carried on into the cabin of the plane: a lady’s handbag or purse, an umbrella or walking stick, a reasonable amount of reading material for the flight, infant’s food for consumption in flight, an overcoat, wrap or blanket, a small camera and/or a pair of binoculars, a laptop computer. | | Nature Air Domestic Flights | | | The pilots are always smiling as they fly you from A to B. |
