Arenal Springs is a nice little open family hotel, with a small resort feel to it. It has a good feeling of space to it, with little individual bungalows for guests, each of which are designed to face the Volcano.

Located 2.5 hours from San José, the hotel Arenal Springs offers a good combination between relaxation, comfort, and exuberant tropical scenery, as well as great views of the Arenal Volcano from any vantage point in the premises.

The pool is stylish yet simple, with a very approachable wet bar. Excellent for kids. Though it’s a bit of a walk from the pool to your room, a golf cart is always on call to move you around. The design of the roof of the restaurant is very eye-catching, but perhaps creates an idea of something more than it is.

But if your looking for something spacious, good for the family and within a moderate budget around Arenal, the Arenal Springs Hotel is a good option.
