If you are looking for great value for money and want to be close to San Jose but not in the thick of it then Hotel Alta could be a very good option. The Hotel is famed for its restaurant and location with views over the Central Valley. It is said on a clear day you can 3 of the volcanoes surrounding the Central Valley.
The room of choice would be a Junior Suite as their decor is better and so is the view. The better the room the better view.
The pool is a good size and the service at the hotel of a good level. This hotel is good for all types of groups from elederly people to young children.
